Chassis and battery

The BMW i4 is the first four-door touring car powered by pure electric power. It adopts rear-wheel drive, a low center of gravity design (the battery is placed on the central axle of the chassis), and the wheel track is wider than that of the BMW THE 4 powered by electric oil. In addition, the BMW i4 front and rear axles are equipped with exclusive reinforcement components, and the high-voltage battery housing is directly connected to the frame, which strengthens the rigidity of the frame and extends BMW's consistent driving pleasure.
